MEET THE DOCTORS

Dr. Veronica Yoshiura received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989 from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. A few years later she moved to Canada and in 1995 obtained her dental license after completing the exams of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.

She believes every patient is different and is committed to providing the best treatment designed specifically for their needs.

Dr. Yoshiura is dedicated in making a difference in her patients oral health and appearance by using her clinical skills, experience and latest technology.

Dr. Jaime S. Guerrero grew up in Cartagena, Colombia. He attended University of Cartagena, School of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS degree in 1993 with outstanding academic records. Thereafter he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency and graduated with honors from Pontificia Javeriana University, Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, Bogotá, in 2000. Dr. Guerrero subsequently went to the University of Miami to complete a one-year clinical rotation in maxillofacial tumor and reconstructive surgery at the Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following his training Dr. Guerrero built a successful oral and maxillofacial surgery private practice in Bogotá where he worked for over 10 years before moving to Canada. Once in Canada Dr. Guerrero completed a Master's of Health Sciences (MHSc) degree in Bioethics at the Joint Centre for Bioethics, University of Toronto, in 2011. Thereafter, Dr. Guerrero re-qualified his dental degree by successfully completing the NDEB’s equivalency process to be certified as a dentist in Canada in 2014. Dr. Guerrero is licensed as a general practitioner in Ontario and limits his clinical practice to oral surgery procedures.
